Happy Hour

16th January 2009 is definitely a day to remember. It was the day when me, Gina and Linz did our dissertation exam and we passed it really well. It was such a tense day. I remember how we were all scared and sat down in front of the faculty waiting to be called in the chamber of torture. Lisa came as well to support us, and as I recall she ate my snack...hahaha!

I had such a headache afterwards, I guess it was a mixture of happiness, relieved, and remains of my stress in the room. You could just feel the tension in our faces. Even Linz, who is probably the calmest of us all, were pale as sheet and you could see the fear in her eyes.

Anyways we did well, and the next day we waited for our results..It took soooo long, we got totally bored and started taking silly pictures of us three. We didn't even get the result till the next day! Who knew taking care of administration work could be so annoying and boring. We also waited for our dean to sign our dissertation, and we were all sitting down in front of his office. Hahaha...that was a moment to remember, I mean you don't get this kind of friends and experience twice in a lifetime so enjoy what you have now! And for you reading this who is still in uni, enjoy your uni life! Work is nothing like it!!

4 Friends

I have abandoned enough blogs, this one too. So even though I haven't updated it for a year (or more) but I really think this can be a good blog. I edited so many pictures over the year and a lot has happened this year.
One my friend went to Korea for a student exchange, then came back in December. 3 of us graduated, including me. Now we're working in different cities, me in Jakarta, the other one in Yogyakarta, and Linz is in Germany. Lisa just finished her dissertation exam, and will be working soon. I just cannot believe we've grown apart so fast!
I just don't know when we'll ever get together again. Not to mention I'm sooo far away from my other close friends and that makes me sad.

There's just a lot of sadness in me which motivated me to edit wonderful pictures taken with my friends. And over the year I have also improved my digital scrapbooking skills (I think) and I try to find as many freebies as I can, since it's too expensive for me to buy. Well, I live in Indonesia, if your convert the prices into Rupiah, it's quite a lot.

Anyways this is me and my 3 best friends, we've been friends ever since the 1st semester and I miss them all sooo much.

Best Friend

This one is a picture of me and Herlin. We've known each other since my semester here in UKDW. Actually I've seen her before going to uni. We met at my church's camp, she was soooo scary and when I talked to her she was really quiet! At that time I thought "I'm so glad I don't have a friend like that! Wish I never see her again!"
But guess what? At our uni orientation I was shocked to find her in the same faculty as me! OMG! She was also in most of my classes! At first I didn't dare talk to her, but we became friends at the end of semester 1. Now we've been friends for almost 3 years and we've gone through sooo much! I remember a time when I got mad at Herlin cos my USB was in one of the lab's computer and was in a process of copying some data, and innocently she unplugged it! All of my data got ERASED!!! I was sooooo mad, I didn't speak to her for the entire lesson. She also got totally pissed on time when we were teaching a class together on Introduction to Multimedia. She was explaining something and I cut her in. I could see it in her face that she was annoyed! But we never stayed mad for longer than a day! It's just so funny to see that!
